Emma Synnott is a sustainable cities expert with 20 years professional experience in the public and private sectors.
Emma joins the Commission having spent three years with multi-disciplinary consulting firm Arup where she was a national thought leader in sustainable cities and carbon and energy strategy and the Australasian leader for the waste and resources business.
Prior to joining Arup Emma spent more than two years working for the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the London Sustainable Development Commission (LSDC) and was instrumental in establishing the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012.
Emma began her career in the NSW Cabinet Office and from there specialised in social housing policy and sustainability strategy.
