The Commission for a Sustainable London 2012 will consult with wider stakeholders including the London Sustainable Development Commission, the UK Sustainable Development Commission, regional sustainable development groups, host boroughs and professional bodies, to identify key issues and priorities and provide the best possible independent assurance programme.

By working with the Olympic Board, the Games delivery bodies and the wider stakeholders, the commission will lead an assurance program that is focussed on best practice, lasting benefits and providing an example for the rest of the world to follow.
